Alexandra is a proud and passionate New Zealander who recently moved to live in Singapore with her family. While in Singapore, Alexandra is bringing her entrepreneurial skills to a new venture that will bring the New Zealand she loves to the ASEAN market.
Alexandra has a twenty year career in business management and philanthropy, with a diverse range of skills and experience, from sales and marketing, to design and engineering; with her main area of expertise in design thinking and product development. She gained this experience in South Africa, London and Sydney before returning to Christchurch to work in her family business SKOPE Industries for the past decade.
Prior to moving to Singapore, Alexandra was the Deputy Chair and Executive Director at SKOPE, focusing on developing world leading refrigeration technology for the global corporate beverage and foodservices market. She worked with leading brands such as Coca-Cola Amatil, Fonterra, Goodman-Fielder and Parmalat, and premier restaurants and bars across Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East. Her role included developing strategic business relationship with companies including Haier in China and Irinox in Italy.
She has applied her expertise to corporate governance as a Trustee on the Christchurch Art Gallery Foundation and the Robert and Barbara Stewart Charitable Trust, and is an avid supporter of the Arts and causes affecting women and animals.
Alexandra has a Masters in Design from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Degree in Electrical Engineering with Honours from Canterbury University. Alexandra was a participant of the inaugural Stanford Bootcamp in 2012.
