Alumni Profiles
Raised on a Reporoa sheep and beef farm, Bridgit gained a Masters in Agricultural Science from Massey University before focusing on transforming science into a product or service that adds value. She has a successful track record in innovation and commercialising agricultural science.
Bridgit has worked with a wide range of organisations as diverse as AgResearch, SpectraNet, Danish Technology Institute, Agribusiness Research and Education Network, TradeNZ and Catapult Genetics. All of these different roles lead to Bridgit becoming a founder, shareholder and the Chief Executive Officer of Regen in 2010. Since it’s establishment, Regen has been through two successful capital raising rounds and is now a respected provider of valuable decision support services to farmers in the area of effluent and nitrogen management. Spending time with husband Anthony and two children, Ryan (18) and Ariane (14), jazz dancing and running are how Bridgit enjoys time away from work.
Always keen on a challenge this year Bridgit entered the Oxfam Trailwalker with THREE friends – a 100km walk completed by the team in 21 hours.
