Calvin is a Director and Shareholder of Pet Nutrition New Zealand LP. The companies vision is to deliver New Zealand's quality protein's to the pets of the world.

Calvin was previously a Director and Chief Executive of K9 Natural Food Ltd. K9 Natural produces super premium natural dog and cat food which is exported to 19 countries globally. Calvin took the company from a start up business to a medium sized business over 5 years as the CEO. Calvin remains a shareholder of K9 Natural.

Previously Calvin worked for 16 years in investment banking in New Zealand, Singapore, Tokyo and London. This culminated in being Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston in London, with primary responsibility for the global currency derivatives trading.

Upon returning to New Zealand in 2006, he consulted on currency risk management for investors and exporters.
