Jamie is currently the Māori Trustee and Chief Executive of Te Tumu Paeroa. The Māori Trustee protects and enhances Māori land and assets, administering 100,000 hectares of land throughout the country and managing a variety of investment interest. Jamie has held a range of governance positions in the health, iwi development, fishing, agribusiness and investment sectors.
Jamie is currently a director of Aotearoa Fisheries Ltd, Te Ohu Kaimoana Trustee Ltd and Wools of New Zealand. He is also a member of the Investment Advisory Panel for the Primary Growth Partnership and a board member of Tourism New Zealand. Jamie is the former chairman of Parininihi ki Waitotara Incorporation - a Taranaki based Māori agribusiness organisation and is a recipient of the Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leadership Award.
