Te Hono alumni - Alexandra Stewart

A natural leader and effervescent businesswoman, Alexandra has spent the majority of her career leading marketing strategy and creative thinking within the engineering and manufacturing industries. Proven at developing business ideas, diversifying brands and broadening market reach, it was a natural move for Alexandra to launch her own company.

New Zealand-born with career experience in the Australian and UK markets, Alexandra combined her strategic mind and entrepreneurial instinct with her passion for luxury travel to found Antipodean Luxury Travel in 2016, when living in Singapore.

The company’s key vision: To elevate luxury travel and culturally enriching experiences, with a style of hospitality that’s welcoming, delightful, and most importantly, always down to earth.

Alexandra’s deep ties in the local community, personal network and on-the-ground partnerships make this possible. Alexandra honed the company’s services in line with the rise in demand from travellers for more luxurious and bespoke travel experiences. This has led to increased loyalty and referrals from existing clients.

Alongside Antipodean Luxury Travel, Alexandra supports several philanthropic causes across the arts, education, health and animal welfare. She is a trustee of Christchurch Charitable Trust, and a previous Trustee of the Christchurch Art Gallery.

Alexandra has a Masters of Design from University of Technology, Sydney, a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, and Executive Business Program from Stanford University, USA.
